Sally Bennett

Sally Bennett is a Senior Advisor at Catalio Capital Management, LP based in Catalio’s London Office. She has an extensive career spanning medicine, equity & capital markets and investment management. She brings over 25 years’ industry experience in senior roles across the financial sector within the life science and biopharmaceutical space.

Prior to joining Catalio, Sally served as a senior member of the investment team at HealthCor Management, LP, a global healthcare focused long short equity fund. She joined HealthCor in 2007 and led the bio-pharmaceuticals public equities investment team for over 10 years. More recently she co-led the firms move into private investing. Prior to HealthCor, Sally spent a decade in senior analyst roles at ING Financial Markets and Piper Jaffray.

Sally currently serves on the Board of Directors of several publicly listed and private biotech companies. She previously served on the Council of Governors at University College London Hospital (UCLH), an NHS Foundation Trust Hospital, where she sat on the Research and Innovation Committee. She is a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD) and has been awarded the CertIoD qualification with distinction. Sally earned both a BSc and an MD, awarded with Honours, from the University of Manchester and practiced as a medical physician for two years.
